Item Diapazonul comunicațional al mass-mediei în reflectarea integrării europene a Republicii Moldova(CEP USM, 2024) Lescu, MihaiÎn acest articol autorul examinează activitatea mass-mediei privind reflectarea drumului european al Republicii Moldova de la obținerea independenței, care, datorită conjuncturii geopolitice din ultimii ani, de rând cu Ucraina, a obținut statut de țară-candidat în UE. Autorul evidențiază cauzele ce au condus la faptul că de-a lungul anilor Republica Moldova a avut și ratări în privința implementării angajamentelor de integrare, chiar dacă mass-media de la noi ani la rând reflectă obiectiv și multiaspectual această problematică. Analiza îi permite autorului să facă propuneri concrete privind redresarea situației în domeniul mediatizării problematicii integrării europene, în ajunul Referendumului din 20 octombrie 2024 pentru modificarea Constituției în vederea aderării Republicii Moldova la UE.Item Bibliotecile publice în contextul integrării europene a Republicii Moldova(CEP USM, 2024) Silivestru, DianaThe paper presents recent initiatives carried out by the Ministry of Culture in order to improve the legislative and normative framework in the field of librarianship and information science. The article details the activity of public libraries and the impact of European integration on them, highlighting the essential role of the Ministry of Culture in promoting European cultural values and modernizing libraries. Attention is drawn to the most important national and international policy documents and programs that guide the development of libraries in Moldova, emphasizing their importance for alignment with European standards. The article examines the general research methods used in the field of librarianship and information science, with an emphasis on the comparative analysis of public policies and the national regulatory framework. International and national policy documents, as well as the national normative framework that refers to the integration process of the Republic of Moldova through the prism of libraries, served as materials.Item Dinamica comunicării geopolitice a mass-mediei din Republica Moldova privind relațiile moldo-române(CEP USM, 2024) Lescu, MihaiIn this article, based on the analysis of news bulletins from several television stations in the Republic of Moldova from 2019 and 2023, the author aims to determine the potential of the mass media in stimulating social-political dialogue in collaborative relations with Romania, which is perceived as the “lawyer” our country in relations with other countries and in connection with European integration. Examining the dynamics of the relations between the two Romanian states raising several question marks in the current conditions of regional geopolitical instability, which are required to be answered. The armed invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine more than two years ago also left its mark on the political, economic and cultural collaboration between Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Based on the study undertaken, the author comes with conclusions and recommendations on the subject of the theme.Item EUROPEAN UNION MEDIA POLICY: A TOOL FOR STRENGTHENING MEMBERS RELATIONSHIP(CEP USM, 2023) Beregoi, NataliaEuropean Union media policy has evolved significantly over the years, serving as a powerful tool for fostering stronger relationships among its member states. The development of this policy can be divided into several distinct phases, each reflecting the changing landscape of media and the EU’s expansion. EU media policy aims to establish a common framework for media services, facilitating the free movement of audiovisual content across borders. The EU recognized the need to compete with non-European productions and introduced programs to support and promote European works, providing essential funding to bolster the industry. EU media policy has played a pivotal role in strengthening relationships among member states by promoting a unified media market, facilitating cross-border content sharing, and fostering a sense of common identity through media. However, it also faces ongoing challenges in adapting to the fast-paced media landscape and accommodating the diverse needs of member and candidate states. The article explores the multifaceted role of EU media policy in fostering closer ties among member states and highlights ongoing challenges in the media field.
