Item CINE ACTIVA ÎN SERVICIUL „SPIONAJULUI MOLDOVENESC” ÎN ANII 1944-1945?(CEP USM, 2021) Malacenco, AlexandruAfter more than three decades since the USSR collapsed, the subject regarding the contribution of the soviet espionage in the process of reestablishing the soviet power in Bessarabia remains unstudied. Based on documents from the Archive of the Security and Intelligence Service of the Republic of Moldova, the author aims to analyze the organizational structure, the duties and the staff of one of the most veiled units of the People’s Commissariat for State Security (in Russian: NKGB) of the Moldavian SSR in the period between 1944 and 1945 – unit 1 of foreign intelligence (in Russian: razvedka). Unit 1 of the NKGB of the Moldavian SSR was responsible for foreign intelligence, or, in other words, it was the espionage service of the union republic outside the Soviet Union. Ethnical composition of the unit 1 of the NKGB’ staff of and the peculiarities of its organization will point out at who the soldiers from the first line of the “invisible front” were and their role in the process of institutionalizing the soviet power in the Moldavian SSR in the first post-war years.Item NKGB, TINERETUL ȘI INTELECTUALII ÎN RSS MOLDOVENEASCĂ ÎN PRIMII ANI POSTBELICI(Tipografia "Lexon-Prim", 2020) Malacenco, AlexandruIn the present work, the author will focus on analysing the actions and measures carried out by the soviet NKGB towards youth and some representatives of the intellectual class from the Moldavian SSR in the first post-war years, as well as the factors that determined their need. The study will allow us to elucidate elements of modus operandi and special measures used by the soviet security structures in relation to mentioned social classes and their role in the context of consolidating the soviet regime in the Moldavian SSR. Taking into account that the subject of the study remains very poorly explored in the Moldovan historiography, this work will contribute to acquire a better knowledge of this historical episode. This study is based on unpublished documents from the archive of the Security and Intelligence Service of the Republic of Moldova (ASISRM) and other historiographical sources.
