Universities have a crucial role in sharing good practices, preparing specialists in sustainable procurement, responsible for proper implementation of sustainable procurement policies.

    ÎNVĂȚĂMÂNTUL SUPERIOR DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA: PROVOCĂRI ȘI PERSPECTIVE

    One of the key challenges facing the higher education system in the Republic of Moldova today is the relatively low number of students in universities. Statistics show that the number of students has decreased considerably over the last 15 years by about 53,19% overall, and for those enrolled by about 37,74%, also causing a shortage of students in the most vulnerable specialties, such as chemistry and mathematics, which subsequently had serious consequences on the labour market. Therefore, the shortage of students was and is caused by the phenomenon of students emigrating to other foreign countries. The main factors behind the decision of students to emigrate from the Republic of Moldova are: low salaries and lack of jobs, poor quality of life or the futility of establishing a desired career, etc.

    DEVELOPING AN EDUCATIONAL BRAND IN A WORLD OF GLOBALLY COMPETITIVE EDUCATIONAL MARKETS

    Education is a part of the services sector of the social sphere, which results in an educational product. The basis for the development of an educational service is considered to be scientific and pedagogical work, as a result of which an educational product is created. Consequently, educational services are not just about fulfilling the needs of the individual (student), but also about responding to the needs of society and, as a result, there is development, progress and innovation. Nowadays, both higher education systems and higher education institutions operate in a highly competitive global market for educational services. This fact leads to the necessity of developing recognisable educational brands. Therefore, it is advisable for them to act as a single brand. The brand will become known on the global market precisely because of the common standard and the coordinated actions of the HEI and the partner institutions.

    METAMORFOZA ÎNVĂȚĂMÎNTULUI SUPERIOR DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA ÎN CONDIȚII DE PANDEMIE

    The paper is a reflection on the events of the last year that continue to influence the higher education system in the Republic of Moldova, as well as on the radical changes that may take place in the near future. It also deals with the subject of changes in the development of information technologies, which in the context of the current pandemic are implemented in all areas of activity in order to overcome self-isolation. In these conditions of uncertainty, there are multitude of scenarios that can be applied in the development of the education system, which can become strategies for implementing various real actions for further development. The paper proposes several strategies towards the development of education and the improvement of the professional level of teachers, where ICT is not only treated as a subject of study, but also as a tool that leads to the improvement of the educational process.

    PRACTICILE INTERNAȚIONALE PRIVIND CORELAREA ÎNVĂȚĂMÂNTULUI SUPERIOR CU CERINȚELE PIEȚEI MUNCII

    Problema corelării învățământului superior cu cerințele pieței muncii este una comună atât pentru țările care sunt în curs de dezvoltare, cât și pentru țările dezvoltate economic. De-a lungul timpului s-au încercat a fi găsite cele mai optime metode de corelare a acestor două mari sisteme, practicile cele mai optime fiind întâlnite în Marea Britanie, Franța, Germania ș.a. Printre problemele cu care se confruntă țările europene, cea mai importantă este asigurarea echilibrului dintre cererea pe piața muncii și oferta învățământului superior. Soluționarea acesteia în Europa este realizată prin creșterea rolului statului, a dinamicității angajatorilor și a organizațiilor acestora, prin consolidarea coordonării activităților partenerilor sociali în domeniul muncii și al formării profesionale.

    LOOKING FOR (RE)DEFINING UNIVERSITY AUTONOMY

    The article presents a comparative analysis of the institutional university autonomy of the following EU member states: Denmark, Lithuania, Romania, Scotland and Sweden. Today we are witnessing the restructuring of various society sectors - the economy, labor market, social and political systems, etc. It is a process at state – nation level, as well as regional and global levels. Education systems in most countries, at their turn, react to this process and engage in radical reform of higher education in order to achieve economic, social and political objectives of the society. In this emerging environment universities have to review their position in order to redefine and adapt their functions, forming an autonomous space for proper decision making and, thus, playing an innovative role in the socioeconomic environment.

    În acest articol sunt reliefate politicile educaționale care au fost implementate în sistemul de învăţământ din Republica Moldova, îndeosebi în învățământul superior. Învăţământul superior a suferit multiple transformări, începând cu perioada proclamării independeței și continuând până în prezent. Toate modificările operate au avut la bază racordarea sistemului de învăţământ superior la rigorile europene, altfel spus - europenizarea acestuia. Adaptarea învăţământului superior la condiţiile cerute de UE va oferi compatibilitatea şi competitivitatea necesară pe piaţa universitară europeană, fapt ce va determina creşterea mobilităţilor academice ale actorilor implicaţi.

    O MODALITATE DE ESTIMARE A STRATEGIILOR UNIVERSITĂŢILOR

    Orice economie poate realiza o dezvoltare sustenabilă numai în cazul dacă ceastaeconomia) se bazează pe cunoştinţe. Competitivitatea cunoştinţelor poate fi cuantificată doar princompetitivitatea economiilor. Prezenţa unui număr enorm de „specialişti” cu studii medii, superioare, inclusiv doctori în ştiinţe, nici pe departe nu mărturiseşte de prezenţaunui volum mare de cunoştinţe. Diplomele sunt doar necesare, dar nu şi suficiente pentru a concluziona că posesorii respectivi sunt dotaţi cu cunoştinţe respective. Acestea (cunoştinţele) trebuie onfirmate la toate etapele: la fiecare an şcolar absolvit, la admiterea în universităţi, colegii, la bsolvirea acestora, la angajarea în câmpul muncii. .
