    PROPAGANDA ÎN DISCURSUL POLITIC EXTERN AL STATULUI: REPERE PENTRU REPUBLICA MOLDOVA

    This article researches the influence of propaganda in foreign policy approach of the state and evaluates in particular the Republic of Moldova. The importance of this problem studying was caused by the major role of propagandistic tools on the international arena at the moment. The propaganda phenomenon now uses soft ways to influence states via their foreign policy approach. The contemporary political world that counts on boosting its influence and performing national interest, sees an opportunity in developing and applying the propagandistic mechanisms that guarantee a firm position in the international system. In the case of the Republic of Moldova, the present reality shows that the population live in misinformation and aren’t interested in searching for the truth by following a lot of channels with fake news. Consequently, is tried to research the theoretical dimension of propaganda, to establish its tools on influencing the state’s actions in foreign policy and to evaluate the impact of the propagandistic actions of other states on the Republic of Moldova.

    This article explores certain facets of the formation and promotion of the EU's image through strategic communication. In a scenario where the advancement of media technologies has blurred the borders between states in the realm of communication, presenting unparalleled opportunities to exert influence on a wide-ranging audience through diverse means and informational approaches, the significance of investigating the mechanisms of strategic communication becomes pertinent as a fundamental component of a government's endeavors to manage public opinion, with the aim of attaining credibility, legitimacy, and backing in the process of shaping and endorsing a favorable image on the global stage. The European Union undertakes manifold initiatives to cultivate a positive image, with a strong emphasis placed on the advocacy of European values and enhancing its perception both domestically and internationally. Within this context, special emphasis is accorded to the endeavors of garnering and sustaining public support for its actions, wherein strategic communication emerges as a potent instrument in this regard. Further advancement in this sphere serves as an apt response for an integration association in addressing informational threats and adapting to novel circumstances.

    US SOFT POWER IN PROMOTING THE IMAGE OF THE STATE IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

    Risks and threats to international security contribute to the assertion of new peaceful methods of coexistence and cooperation of states and, in this context, the role of soft power increases unconditionally. This is a measure of achieving advantageous results, relying on conviction, voluntary participation, sympathy and attraction. In this article, we will examine the role and importance of US soft power tools in shaping state’s positive external image in its relations with the Republic of Moldova.

    INFLUENŢA SOFT POWER ASUPRA PROCESULUI DE ASIGURARE A INTERESELOR NAȚIONALE ALE FEDERAȚIEI RUSE ȘI REPUBLICII MOLDOVA

    În acest articol se examinează influenţa soft power asupra procesului de asigurare a intereselor naționale ale Federației Ruse și Republicii Moldova. Autorul determină puterea soft ca un mijloc important de asigurare a intereselor naționale, o componentă esenţială a procesului de realizare a relaţiilor dintre state, deducând faptul că soft power contribuie la fundamentarea și promovarea intereselor naționale, consolidarea stabilității, ordinii și păcii și crearea unei imagini pozitive a statului pe arena internațională.Reieșind din faptul că conceptul de soft power s-a dezvoltat, căpătând un fundament legal în Federația Rusă destul de recent, crește importanța cercetării subiectului dat pentru a urmări cum a fost definită această concepție și cum este dezvoltat și concretizat propriul plan de acțiune, fără adaptarea șabloanelor occidentale la realitățile rusești. Cercetarea rolului soft power în promovarea intereselor naționale ale Republicii Moldova rezidă din faptul că statul nostru necesită o clarificare a obiectivelor de politică externă și mijloacelor de realizare ale acestora, o determinare a rolului puterii soft, a specificității și eficienței acesteia în transmiterea de către un stat democrat și modern a valorilor sale altor actori ai procesului internațional.
