The article deals with the concept of human security, which relates to much more than
security from violence and crime. There are many other aspect of human security such as
economic, food, environment or health security. Human security can also be used to look into
personal, community and political security. There are presented the links between human
security and the national security, development and external politics, and also the peace keeping
process.
