The given paper presents the role of government communication and the way in which
institutions communicate in order to create the best possible image. The relationship between
public communication and the mass media system is also analyzed, as well as the
mutual influence between these systems. The thesis deals with how the institutional image
is built and what are the risks in case of poor management.
