    Apa neagră – semnificații și reprezentări ambivalente în proză [Articol]

    The article focuses on the interpretation of water in its dual beneficial and malevolent form in the prose of Romanian writers (V. Voiculescu, M. Eliade, Al. Popescu, R. Găvan, V. Beșleagă) and American writers (C. Oates, J.T. MacGregor). The theoretical part of the article is centered on the relevant analyses of the imaginary made by C.G. Jung, S. Freud, M. Klein, Cr. Gavriluță, A. Poruciuc, and on the concepts of ambivalence, splitting, double representation, the ego’s drive, and the Dofl legend. The author captures the blackness of water (turbid, viscous) in contrast with the characters’ experiences. The negative aspects of water increase in intensity, and water becomes a useful tool for probing the obscure areas of the characters’ unconscious. The article discusses the aquatic imaginary, from the everyday representations found in expressions and popular sayings to literary works, where the aquatic imaginary intensifies in negative depictions.

    Itinerarul devenirii ființiale și reconstituirea traumei în romanul Ventrilocul, de Corin Braga [Articol]

    This article presents a literary analysis of the imaginary universe in Corin Braga’s prose work Ventrilocul, with a particular focus on elements of rupture and the ways in which transgenerational traumas can shape the destiny of the characters. I have employed a hermeneutic investigation, appealing, to the extent that it can be adapted, to literary psychoanalysis. This approach has allowed for a detailed examination of the characters’ journeys of reconstruction and existential becoming, as well as the mechanisms through which they manage to harmonize their inner states in order to activate the process of integrating opposites. Through the process of individualization, the characters uncover, in the depths of the unconscious, a space of confrontation between past and present, from which multiple layers of trauma emerge. Thus, beyond the artistic imagery, we discover a fascinating universe that foregrounds psycho-ontological dilemmas, identity fractures, and possibilities for reorganizing the reality in which Corin Braga’s characters exist.

    Iubire vs dependenţa de iubire în romanul “Dependenţa” de Constantin Cheianu [Articol]

    În comunicarea de față vom releva mecanismele de scindare a individualității personajului Dan Mătăsaru prin calitatea relației mamă – copil ce-i denaturează fiului pentru totdeauna percepția iubirii. Cu aceste confuzii dintre iubire și ură (invidie, invalidare, desconsiderare, devalorizare, manipulare afectivă), protagonistul, adult fiind, reacționează acid față de lumea înconjurtoarea: își obține succesul și aprecierea (o substituție a iubirii) prin deconspirarea și pedepsirea autorităților politice (asupra cărora proiectează dorința de pedepsire a figurilor parentale) și grație acestui succes se bucură de atenția femeilor, însă le ține la distanță afectivă, limitându-se la relațiile intime. Aceste mecanisme de apărare însă accentuează vidul interior, în special când resimte separarea de o femeie ca pe un abandon matern. Pe de altă parte, romanul Dependența redă un context sociocultural al Basarabiei comuniste și postcomuniste și influențele acestor vremuri asupra destinul individului.
