ASPECTELE REFLEXIVE ALE GEOGRAFIEI ISTORICE

Abstract

Metodele geografiei istorice militare conţin repere teoretice ce se deosebesc de reperele istoriografiei oficiale, care aserveşte unele comenzi politice sau geopolitice. Gândirea şi logica unui ofiţer de calitate nu poate fi statică, dogmatică sau fanatică, ea trebuie să fie dinamică, capabilă să facă analize şi sinteze neaştepate, nonconformiste, capabilă să aducă performanţe tactice şi strategice acţiunilor militare. Această deosebire nu este una antagonistă, dar vine să completeze volumul de informaţii al unui ofiţer contemporan, astfel încât cunoştinţele lui teoretice să nu fie rupte de la spaţiul istorico-geografic pe care el e obligat să-l protejeze, să-l apere şi, dacă e nevoie, cu preţul propriei vieţi.

The methods of military historical geography contain theoretical landmarks that differ from the landmarks of official historiography, which enshrines some political or geopolitical commands. The thinking and logic of a quality officer cannot be static, dogmatic or fanatical, it must be dynamic, capable of making unexpected, nonconformist analyzes and syntheses, capable of bringing tactical and strategic performance to military actions. This difference is not an antagonistic one, but it comes to complete the volume of information of a contemporary officer, so that his theoretical knowledge is not torn from the historical-geographical space, which he is obliged to protect, to defend, and if need be at the cost of one’s life.
