REPREZENTĂRI MALEFICE ALE APEI

Abstract

Apa reprezentată ca element natural conține două accepții ale binelui și răului. Din perspectiva reprezentării apei ca sălaș al răului, aceasta e interpretată ca o veritabilă coborâre în infern, ca reprezentare psihologică; scufundarea în apă este în unele cazuri echivalentul sondării inconștientului. Ne propunem să elucidăm valențele negative ale apei și a reprezentărilor imaginare ale ei pornind de la opera lui Mircea Eliade „Isabel și apele diavolului”, Radu Găvan „Diavoli fragili”, Alexandru Popescu „Adâncuri incolore” și conceptul de „complex al Ofeliei” din opera lui Gaston Bachelard. Aceste opere reactivează abordările negative ale apei de la conflictele interioare ale personajului spre stihia apei, forța distructivă.Water represented as a natural element contains two meanings of good and evil. From the perspective of representing water as the abode of evil, this is interpreted as a veritable descent into hell, as a psychological representation, immersion in water is in some cases the equivalent of probing the unconscious. We propose to elucidate the negative valences of water and its imaginary representations starting from Mircea Eliade’s work „Isabel and the waters of the devil”, Radu Găvan „Fragile devils”, Alexandru Popescu „Colorless depths” and the concept of „Ophelia’s complex” from the work of Gaston Bachelard. These works activate the negative approaches of water from the inner conflicts of the character to the element of water, the destructive force.
