| dc.description.abstract | The following study represents a systemized attempt at describing the formation and evolution of southern Moldavian borders between the second half of 14th Century and 1484 (the year of successful Ottoman campaign against Moldova in Budjak). The analysis of the methods for installing new borders, as well as the relationships between the Voivodes of Moldova and local population, elites and main political neighbors represents the main focus of this thesis. | en |
