RELAȚIILE REPUBLICA MOLDOVA – UNIUNEA EUROPEANĂ ÎN CONTEXTUL RĂZBOIULUI DIN UCRAINA

Abstract

Evenimentele din regiune, soldate cu agresiunea militară a Federației Ruse asupra Ucrainei la data de 24 februarie 2022 au accelarat dinamica relațiilor dintre Republica Moldova și Uniunea Europeană. Actualmente, relațiile moldo-euopene sunt condiționate de evenimentele din Ucraina, care au orientat vectorul politicii externe a Republicii Moldova versus UE. Înaintarea cererii de aderare la UE de către Republica Moldova și obținerea statutului de țară candidată la integrarea în UE și ne vorbește despre dorința statului de a se alinia proceselor din spațiul integraționist european. Prezentul articol are drept obiectiv reliefarea condițiilor în care Republica Moldova a obținut statutul de țară candidat la UE, cât și condițiile împuse de UE privind reziliența Republicii Moldova la standartele europene.The events in the region, resulting in the military aggression of the Russian Federation on Ukraine on February 24, 2022, accelerated the dynamics of relations between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union. Currently, Moldovan-European relations are conditioned by the events in Ukraine, which oriented the foreign policy vector of the Republic of Moldova towards the EU. The submission of the EU accession application by the Republic of Moldova and obtaining the status of a candidate country for EU integration speaks to the state’s desire to align itself with the processes of the European integration space. The objective of this article is to highlight the conditions under which the Republic of Moldova obtained the status of a candidate country for the EU, as well as the conditions imposed by the EU regarding the resilience of the Republic of Moldova to European standards.
