dc.description.abstract | The right of workers to bargain collectively is a fundamental right, which is recognized in the Constitution of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Declaration of Philadelphia annexed to the ILO Constitution. The legal protection of the right to collective bargaining is the key to the representation of collective interests. It builds on freedom of association and renders collective representation meaningful. Collective bargaining can play an important role in enhancing enterprise performance, managing change and building harmonious industrial relations. In this connection, the author of the given research paper has elucidated the legal institute of the collective bargaining according to the ILO Conventions and the labour legislation of Republic Moldova. | en |
