GESTIONAREA ȘI CONSERVAREA FONDULUI FORESTIER ÎN RSS MOLDOVENEASCĂ (1950-1960)

Abstract

The study examines the evolution of environmental protection legislation and regulations in the Republic of Moldova during the 1950s and 1960s, together with the creation of an appropriate administrative infrastructure. The research attempts to clarify the difficulties encountered in the implementation of this legislative framework in the context of the continuous aggravation of environmental problems. The challenges identified stem from the negligence of central and local authorities, economic structures, as well as the shortage of qualified specialists and the non-existence of a developed environmental culture. Areas of concern include forest management, forest stock and forest resources.
