Abstract

În articol sunt analizate descrierile Basarabiei făcute de călătorii ruși la începutul secolului al XIX-lea. În urma aplicării conceptului de tradiţie inventată”se ȋncercă să se dea răspuns la ȋntrebarea, dacă călătorii, reprezentanți ai elitei ruse,prin descrierile lor ale teritoriului proaspăt anexat,în care acesta este numit„pământ sfânt” unde s-a vărsat „ mult sânge rusesc”,ar fi participat la procesul de „producere al spaţiului imperial-naţonal rus”,respectiv de „construcţie” a patrieilor în Basarabia.

The article analyzes the Bessarabia Descriptions of Russian travel lers at the beginning of the 19th century. As a result of the application of the concept of „invented tradition” the resea rch will try an attempt to find a response to the questionif travellers, who were members of the Russian elite, did not participate through their descriptions of the recently annexed territory as a real „holy earth” ,where there had been shed ”much Russian blood”, in the process of the „production of the Russian imperial-national space” and respectively in the „construction” of their homeland in Bessarabia.
