Abstract
The lack of preventive measures and political initiatives as well as the indifference of society to the victimization of children leads us to believe that the Republic of Moldova is characterized as a state that tolerates the victimization of minors - this thesis constitutes the hypothesis of our analytical research. The results of the research are expressed in the following theses: 1) in the Republic of Moldova, children are victimized in the family environment as well as in the institutional environment, through positive actions (abuse, violence, etc.) and through inaction (negligence); 2) the political will and the social initiative towards solving the problems related to the victimization of children in the Republic of Moldova are in the area of an immense obscurity that must be urgently overcome if the people living in the Republic of Moldova want a better life, a more prosperous society and even the continuity of their state; 3) regarding the victimization of minors as a result of criminal acts, society and the state authorities act with indifference both on the level of prevention and on the level related to the legal resolution of cases in a correct manner; 4) a significant problem for the Republic of Moldova is the criminal victimization of children by the caregiving factor (especially parents) but also the brutality of such cases, this fact indicating a high level of dehumanization of society.
