Abstract
The taxonomic structure of helminth species identified in the house mouse, consists of 3 classes, 10 families, 10 genera and 11 species, of which 5 parasitic species belong to the Cestoda class (Mesocestoides lineatus larvae – 17.0%, Skrjabinotaenia lobata – 4.2%, Hydatigera taeniaeformis larvae – 16.0%, Paranoplocephala omphaloides – 4.2%, Rodentolepis straminea – 5.0%) with a 45.5% share, 4 species - to the Secernentea class (Syphacia obvelata – 33.3%, Syphacia stroma – 8.3%, Mastophorus muris – 33.3%, Strongyloides ratti – 4.2%) with a share of 36.4%, and 2 species – to the Adenophorea class (Trichocephalus muris – 8.3%, Capillaria hepatica – 16.7%), constituting 18.1% of the total species. Rich taxonomic diversity and increased infection level are observed, evaluating the structure of endoparasitism, the total invasive index constituting 71.9% (infected hosts), in this context. Research results reveal the potential risk of parasitic pollution of the area of interference between natural and anthropized ecosystems, by transmitting invasive forms from wild animals to domestic animals, as well as humans.
