Abstract

During the election campaign the political mimicry appears very active, being at the same time a saving manner to achieve politicians’ positions and a possibility to have communication between them and the electorate. The article examines the nature of political mimicry, forms and ways of its manifestations. It ascertains the methods of empirical fixation of political mimicry. The authors analyze the results of content-analytical research of pre-election programs of the candidates running for the office of president of Ukraine in 2014.
