IMPORTANȚA FARMACOLOGICĂ A UNOR PLANTE INVAZIVE LEMNOASE DIN REZERVAȚIA CULTURAL-NATURALĂ ,,ORHEIUL VECHI”

Abstract

The existence of a large number of invasive and potentially invasive species, which affect ecosystem services, is attested in the Republic of Moldova. This requires monitoring the spread of alien species and finding long-term solutions capable of ensuring the sustainable development of ecosystems. The present study aims to identify the possibilities of harnessing invasive and potentially invasive plants in phytotherapy, as one of the solutions to reduce the pressure exerted by these species on the biodiversity of ecosystems. It has been established that some woody plants from the “Orheiul Vechi” protected area (Robinia pseudoacacia L., Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle, Lycium barbarum L., Morus sp.) show increased interest for their use in naturopathic treatments.
