AŞEZAREA CHIŞINĂU – SIT EPONIM AL CULTURII HALLSTATTULUI CANELAT DIN INTERFLUVIUL PRUT-NISTRU

Abstract

În articol se propune o prezentare succintă a cercetărilor din cadrul aşezării hallstattiene timpurii cu ceramică canelată de la Chişinău, investigată în anii 1955–1956 de către arheologul A. Meljukova. În studiu sunt expuse informaţii referitoare la istoricul cercetării, descrierea complexelor şi a materialelor arheologice. Analiza lor generală, dar şi în detaliu a permis stabilirea unor parametri defitorii, care îşi găsesc similitudini şi în alte monumente specifice hallstattului canelat din spaţiul est-carpatic. Totodată, s-a încercat identificarea rolului aşezării examinate în constituirea culturii Chişinău-Corlăteni.The article proposes a brief presentation of the researches from the Early Hallstatt settlement with grooved ceramics investigated near Chişinău by A. Meliukova in 1955–1956. The study presents informa- tion about the history of research, description of the complexes, and archaeological materials. Their general and detailed analysis allowed defining parameters, which find similarities in other monuments specific to the Early Hallstatt with grooved pottery in the Eastern Carpathian area. Also, an attempt was made to identify the role of this settlement in the evolution of the Chişinău-Corlăteni culture.
