Abstract

The article analyzes the integration of Ukrainian refugee women in the Republic of Moldova, with a focus on legal, institutional, and gender-based challenges. The main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of national policies in ensuring socio-economic inclusion for this vulnerable group. The study uses a qualitative, descriptive-analytical method based on the content analysis of normative documents, national and international reports, and recent academic research. Special attention is given to gender disparities, access to employment, education, housing, healthcare, and protection from gender-based violence. The findings reveal that despite existing legal provisions, beneficiaries of temporary protection face structural discrimination and exclusion from key integration mechanisms. Institutional gaps and fragmented coordination between public authorities and civil society further hinder the sustainability of integration efforts. The article emphasizes the need for inclusive, gender-sensitive public policies and stronger intersectoral cooperation to ensure equal access to rights and opportunities for all refugee women.
