Relaționarea tehnologiilor cu cadrul de asigurare a dreptului la un mediu sănătos

Abstract

On 8 October 2021, the UN Human Rights Council declared that having a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment is a human right, with 43 votes in favor and 4 abstentions. The measure was first debated during the 1990s, and the new resolution follows more than three decades of advocacy from various civil society groups. Undoubtedly, this decision is crucial, but the guarantee of this right cannot be achieved without actions to create an early legal, organizational and technical framework for the realization of the right to a healthy environment. Thus, this article proposes a review of the perspective actions needed to be taken from the perspective of ensuring the realization of the right to a healthy environment, especially considering the potential of information technologies proposed for consideration but also the legal context needed to be addressed and configured.
