| dc.description.abstract | Social values (expressly or implicitly mentioned in para. (1) art. 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova), together with the associated social relations, form the general legal object of the crimes provided for by the special part of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova. In foreign criminal laws, the generic legal object of the crimes, which are similar in certain aspects to the crimes provided for in art. 3261 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova, is designed according to the priorities of the criminal policy of each state. It would not be correct at all to say that the approach established in those foreign criminal laws where the generic legal object of the respective crimes is formed by the social values (and associated social relations) protected against: corruption and/or abuse of office; financial crimes. Simply, in the respective states, the emphasis of criminal policy is placed in a different way than in the criminal law of the Republic of Moldova. The good performance of the activity in the public sphere (and the associated social relations) form the generic legal object of the crimes provided for in art. 3261 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova. | en |
