Most of the current problems of transitional macro level essentially for the particular interests related to national identity, the nature of socio-political relations, relations goal-means mentality and descend from the totalitarian Soviet regime. Soviet state was not in fact a nation-state but centralized multiethnic state in which statehood nations have a formal character. The fight against the Soviet Union took the nationalist shape with popular support on behalf of the nation, especially in the Baltic republics, Russia,Ukraine, and Moldova.
