| dc.description.abstract | Dyes and pigments are being used since long time and find vide applications in various fields such as food, textile and paper industries. The present study is an inventory of the tinctorial plant resources maintained in the collections of National Botanical Garden (Institute), accompanied by botanical description, information on tinctorial and therapeutic values, as well as other uses in various fields. By promoting these underutilized natural resources, the aim is to stimulate the interest and entrepreneurial spirit of the young generation for the practical application of traditional knowledge inherited over time. | en |
