Abstract

In the ninth decade of the twentieth century, with the opening of the country’s borders, artists gained the opportunity to communicate with creators all around the world. During this period, in the field of arts, there was a tendency towards freedom expressed through experiments in the technique of execution, the diversity of the approached theme, etc. We may notice stylistic changes in all genres of fine and decorative arts. Fine artists in the Republic of Moldova try to get closer to European art, while keeping their own national coloring.
