Abstract

This article analyses the role and necessity of philosophy in the current circumstances. It highlights the inconsistency of the Italian philosopher G.Papini in the assessment of philosophy. Moreover the paper analyses the conceptions of G.Hegel, I. Kant, A.Schopenhauer, C.Radulescu-Motru, L.Blaga etc, all of which viewed philosophy as important.
