Abstract

The ICT domain intersects activities of all categories from MHA (Ministry of Internal Affairs), both of operational and functional natures. The activity of the divisions of the Ministry is unthinkable without a digital development, which should create opportunities for innovation and at the institutional level should maximize the use of data and governmental services for the benefit of citizens, and in the process of maintaining public order should offer security guarantees that are expected by the whole society. Prioritizing this objective for the coming period can support the efforts of the institution in solving the problem of staff shortages, especially for the activities requiring the presence and direct involvement of the human factor. The implementation in the Republic of Moldova of modern digital solutions would allow to achieve the objectives of increasing the safety of citizens and the development of the whole field that deals with ensuring of the public order and security and this implementation is absolutely indispensable in the context of both the challenges and continuous and permanent changes this field is facing and also the expectations of the citizens connected with achieving of a high level of public security.
