AVANSAREA POLITICLOR PENTRU EGALITATE DE GEN ÎN ȚĂRILE ÎN CURS DE DEZVOLTARE, PE FUNDALUL PROVOCĂRILOR GLOBALE ACTUALE

Abstract

În prezent, egalitatea de gen este afectată de fenomenele globale și este nevoie ca politicile de asigurare a egalității de gen să reflecte noua conjunctură, ținând cont de toate variabilele ce pot afecta luarea deciziilor în materie de politici. Totodată, este de un mare interes ce intervenții întreprind țările pentru a răspunde la noile provocări, care este poziția comunității internaționale și ce măsuri sunt întreprinse pentru a depăși piedicile în calea implementării politicilor pentru egalitatea de gen, precum și ce se dovedește a fi o bună practică ce ar putea fi îmbrățișată de alte țări în situații similare, cu ajutorul organizațiilor internaționale de profil, conștientizând nivelurile diferite de dezvoltare ale țărilor. În contextul conjuncturii nefavorabile pentru egalitatea de gen, din cauza a doi ani de pandemie, numeroși cercetători au prezentat comunității științifice dovezi precum că provocările existente până la pandemie pentru egalitatea de gen s-au agravat. Politicile necesare pentru restabilirea parcursului favorabil spre cel de-al cincilea Obiectiv de Dezvoltare Durabilă au reprezentat un subiect de mare importanță pentru cercetători, organizațiile internaționale de profil, dar și pentru guvernele naționale negreșit.Today, gender equality is affected by global phenomena, and there is a need for gender equality policies to reflect the new environment, taking into account all the variables that can affect policy-related decision-making. At the same time, it is of great interest what measures are taken by countries to respond to the new challenges, what is the position of the international community and what is being done to overcome obstacles to the implementation of gender equality policies, as well as what is proving to be good practice, that could be adopted by other countries in similar situations, with the help of the relevant international organisations, bearing in mind the different levels of development of countries. In the context of the unfavourable climate for gender equality, due to two years of pandemic, many researchers have presented evidence to the scientific community that the pre-pandemic challenges to gender equality have worsened. The policies needed to restore the favourable path towards the fifth Sustainable Development Goal, which has been a topic of great importance for researchers, international organisations, but also for national governments.
