Reforma organizării administrativ-teritoriale a Republicii Moldova: perspectivele amalgamării voluntare

Abstract

The administrative-territorial reform in the Republic of Moldova focuses on the voluntary amalgamation of administrative-territorial units in the context of European Union integration. This involves a detailed analysis of challenges and opportunities, highlighting the need for an efficient and modern local administration. Proper implementation of the re- forms is essential for strengthening local autonomy and ensuring transparent and account- able governance, respecting community rights and promoting social cohesion. Addition- ally, improving the quality of public services is another fundamental pillar of this process.
