Mutațiile globale recente ale investițiilor străine directe

Abstract

Investițiile străine directe (ISD) reprezintă o componentă a sistemului financiar global și un factor important de dezvoltare economică. Scopul cercetării efectuate a fost de a prezenta evoluția globală recentă a ISD. Studiul a fost realizat pe baza rapoartelor UNCTAD și a examinării opiniilor experților din domeniul abordat. Analiza efectuată demonstrează tendința generală de scădere a nivelului ISD la nivel mondial sub impactul crizei economice și financiare globale. În ultimul deceniu, a avut loc o schimbare a ponderii principale a fluxurilor de ISD în economiile dezvoltate către cele în curs de dezvoltare. De remarcat sunt și schimbările calitative ale fluxurilor globale de ISD. Articolul prezintă o imagine sintetică a evoluției mondiale a ISD, oferind o viziune generalizată asupra obiectului de studiu.

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is a component of the global financial system and an important factor of economic development. The purpose of the conducted research was to present the recent global evolution of FDI. The study was carried out on the basis of UNCTAD reports and examination of the views of experts in the field addressed. The analysis carried out demonstrates the general downward trend in the level of FDI worldwide under the impact of the global economic and financial crisis. During the last decade, there has been a shift in the main share of FDI flows in developed economies towards developing ones. Also, noteworthy are the qualitative changes in global FDI flows. The given article presents a synthetic picture of the world evolution of FDI, offering a generalized vision of the object of study.
