OBIECTIVELE DE MANAGEMENT ÎN CADRUL ARIILOR PROTEJATE CA ASPECT AL TURISMULUI DURABIL

Abstract

Ariile protejate reprezintă o resursă importantă pentru protecția unui spectru larg de valori naturale unice. În același timp, pe piața turistică se observă o cerere sporită pentru un turism durabil, orientat spre vizite în zone naturale nealterate, ce implică și ariile protejate ca exemplu de astfel de zone. Pentru a realiza o simbioză între protecția și utilizarea turistică a ariilor protejate, ar trebui abordate anumite obiective de management, bazate pe clasificarea UICN. În lucrarea de față sunt examinate problemele legate de aplicarea categoriilor de arii protejate în realizarea obiectivelor de management al ariilor protejate, inclusiv managementul vizitatorilor, și inconveniențele ce decurg din nepotrivirea categoriilor și a obiectivelor de management.

Protected areas represent an important resource for the protection of a wide spectrum of unique natural values. At the same time, there is an increased demand for sustainable tourism, oriented towards visits to unaltered natural areas, which also involves protected areas as an example of such areas. To achieve a symbiosis between protection and tourist use of protected areas, certain management objectives should be addressed, based on the IUCN classification. In the background paper, the problems related to the achievement of protected area management objectives, including visitors management, and the inconveniences arising from the mismatch between categories and management objectives.
