| dc.description.abstract | The problem of the population of small villages (with the population less than 300 inhabitants) from the Central Region of Republic of Moldova is analyzed from the human-geographic point of view in this article. The following characteristics have been considered: the evolution of number and structure of the population, spatial accommodation of the given settlements and their classification andothers.
