Abstract

This article aims to familiarize with the nature and legal regime of the negotiable instruments, the mechanism of their functioning, their practical importance and issues that may be encountered in their application. There also should not be neglected the forms of the transmission and warrant of these instruments. Of an outstanding importance are the conditions of validity and effects of their non-compliance. Last but not least, bills of exchange, promissory note and the check will be subject to comparative analysis for a better understanding of the features of each of these titles.
