Abstract
Within the parameters of the legal framework and the deontological norms,
efficient working strategies can be elaborated, based also on the application of media
techniques to cover the events in which the minors are involved, so that the broadcasted content
is qualitative, with credible sources, relevant details, as well as some possible solutions.
Journalistic practices can be phased so that certain dilemmas can be resolved. At each stage,
media institutions and journalists can call upon international and national laws and ethical
norms. The technological progress and the new media, on the one hand, increase the risks in the
process of covering the events in which the minors are protagonists, and on the other hand,
increase the demands and the possibilities of accessing any law or ethical norms in real time.
