Abstract

The training and further professional development of tourist guides is an absolute necessity to increase the quality of tourism products. In order to achieve this objective, it is necessary to develop and implement study programmes specifically designed for tourism agents. Implementing international experiences in the field of training and further professional development of tourism service providers can bring sustainable results in a very short period of time, something that is necessary to improve the image of the Republic of Moldova as a destination in international tourism.
