| dc.description.abstract | This article is dedicate to the university professor Anatol Petrencu, well-known personality in the Republic of Moldova and abroad. The study present geographical data, pedagogical profile, fields of scientific research, civic position, the fight for the defense of the Romanian History discipline in the context of political interference. It presents information on the private library of the historian, consisting of about 50 000 copies of books in the field of contemporary history.
