EVOLUŢIA RELAŢIILOR MOLDO-POLONEZE ÎN TIMPUL CRIZEI MILITARO-POLITICE DIN RZECZPOSPOLITA DE LA MIJLOCUL SECOLULUI AL XVII-LEA (1648-1653)

Abstract

The proposed topic is of great importance and aims to place Moldova in a broad Euro- pean context at a time when the great European powers were reestablishing the old conti- nent on new principles. So far, no monograph has been produced to define the impact of the political and military crisis in the Rzeczpospolita in the period 1648-1674, when Sweden, Russia, the Ottoman Empire and Transylvania fought wars with Moldavia. Both the then rulers of Moldavia and the population of our country were involved in these confronta- tions, and the political instability of Rzeczpospolita had a direct impact on the situation in Moldavia.
