Abstract

The chernozioms, due to their genetic peculiarities, are characterized by an increased degree of adaptation to drought and severe climate phenomena related to them. Their long-term use in conditions of cumulative defcit of bioenergetic resources and increasing technoanthropic pressures led to the disruption of the pedofunctional system [bioenergetic system] ↔ [aggregate system] responsible for reproducing the climate-adaptive potential of chernozioms and increasing the degree of vulnerability of chernozioms to changes climatic. To restore the climate-adaptive potential of arable chernozems, pedogenerative technologies based on the management of carbon, nitrogen and other biophilic elements by optimizing and adapting agroecosystems to concrete landscape conditions are recommended.
