ИСТОРИОГРАФИЯ ИЗУЧЕНИЯ ПОЛИТИЧЕСКОГО ИМИДЖА

Abstract

În acest articol autorii au supus unei analize detaliate istoria cercetării imaginii, în general, şi a imaginii politice, în particular. Sunt analizate abordările ştiinţifice de bază ale conceptului „imagine”. Se menţionează că pe întreg parcursul existenţei societăţii umane imaginea a jucat un rol important în procesul politic. Conceptul de imagine (de la engl. image - „imagine”, „vizualizare”, „reflecţie” (în oglindă), „asemănare”, „metaforă”, „icoană”) s-a formulat şi s-a dezvoltat de-a lungul mai multor secole. Unele aspecte în studierea imaginii pot fi întâlnite în etapele timpurii de dezvoltare a gândirii social-politice, în lucrările clasice ale lui Confucius, Aristotel, Platon, Fotiu, Machiavelli şi ale altor gânditori, care au subliniat importanţa imaginii politicianului ca un factor primordial de reglementare a procesului politic. Totodată, premisele teoretico-metodologice ale cercetării imaginii politice în accepţiune contemporană au fost create abia la mijlocul secolului al XX-lea şi au fost condiţionate de prezentarea instituţională a fenomenului dat în statele democratice occidentale.In this article the authors have done a detailed historiographical analysis of image ingeneral and of the political image, in particular, also there are considered the basic scientific approaches to the concept of „image”. It is mentioned, that throughout the existence of human society, the image has played an important role in the political process. The concept of „image” (original English „imag”–also „picture”, „appearance”, „reflection” (mirror), „likeness”, „metaphor”, „icon”) has formulated itself and developed over several centuries. Some aspects in the study of image can be seen even in the earlier stages of development of the socio-political thinking, for instance the classical works of Confucius, Aristotle, Plato, Photios, Machiavelli and other thinkers have emphasized the importance of politicians’ image as a primary factor in regulation of t he political process. Meanwhile, the theoretical-methodological premises of the political image research in contemporary cceptation were created not only till the second half of the XX th century and they were conditioned by the institutional processing of this phenomenon in the western democratic states.
