Abstract
States of the world deeming it necessary to safeguard human dignity in wartime and in peace time by finding crimes against humanity and war as a serious assault on human dignity, concerned to avoid that the prosecution and punishment of such crimes should not be hindered by the prescription of the prosecution and execution of the punishments, laid down in numerous international treaties the principle of imprescriptibility of war crimes and crimes against humanity as an effective instrument in ensuring the universal repression of international crimes and the realization of the individualization of the international criminal responsibility of individuals who have committed such crimes.
