Electric cars are becoming more popular in the Republic of Moldova. There are multiple advantages to promote the use of electric cars in the Republic of Moldova, including low consumption, reduction of CO2 emissions in the transport sector and ensuring a cleaner environment in densely populated localities in the country. At present, there is already a charging infrastructure for electric cars and with significant growth potential in the coming years. At the same time, the purchase of an electric car is already coupled with some tax benefits, such as the lack of application of import excise duties and the lack of tax for road use. Promoting the use of electric cars must also be coupled with the use of electricity from renewable resourcesen
