Abstract
This paper analyzes the conceptual relationship between science and peace through a scientometric analysis based on data obtained from OpenAlex. Using the VOSviewer software and the Kamada-Kawai algorithm, a semantic map was created to visualize the most frequently co-occurring terms associated with «science» and «peace» in the global scientific literature. The results identify five main thematic clusters: applied technology, disarmament and security, post-conflict justice, philosophical reflection, and scientific methodology. This study highlights the deeply interdisciplinary nature of this field of research, which connects the exact sciences with the social and human sciences, including ethics, education, and spirituality. The second contribution of this work lies in a better understanding of the interconnected nature of the concepts of science and peace, as well as in emphasizing the potential of bibliometric visualizations as a strategic toolkit for research planning and evaluation.
