Particularităţile crizei economice mondiale din 2007-2009 şi problema relansării economiei Republicii Moldova [Articol]

Abstract

The present article examines the evolution and essence of the world economic crisis, as well as the specifics and means to overcome the economic crisis in Republic of Moldova. The author describes the factors that triggered the crisis within the financial sector in the developed countries, and the spread of such to the real sector and to the countries in course of development. The author highlights the systemic, structural and global features of the current world crisis; estimates the prospective of the economic evolution under the global perspective and under the angle of Republic of Moldova. The article reserves an important share to the analysis of the causes, peculiarities, factors and means to overcome the economic crisis in Republic of Moldova. The main conclusion states that the severity of the economic crisis in Republic of Moldova is determined by the specifics of the created economic model – the appreciated rate of the national currency (leu of Republic of Moldova), the increased role of the work force export, and the profits created on basis of the immigrants' remittances.
