Abstract

Extinderea spre Est este și în zilele noastre unul din cele mai ambițioase proiecte ale UE. Procesele de transformare în țările din Europa Centrală și de Est (ECE) au avut loc la viteze și adâncimi diferite, drept urmare țările ECE au fost împărțite în grupul statelor de avangardă și state de-al doilea eșalon. Inegalitățile sunt caracteristice unei economii de piață și reprezintă un stimulent al dezvoltării. Cu trăsături specifice, țările din Europa Centrală și de Est au un impact semnificativ asupra consecințelor extinderii UE. Studiul specificului dezvoltării acestor țări în procesul de integrare europeană are o importanță deosebită pentru alte țări aflate în proces de transformare, inclusiv Republica Moldova.Eastern enlargement is still one of the most ambitious EU projects. Transformation processes in the CEE countries took place at different speeds and depths, because of which the CEE countries were divided into leading states and second-tier states. Unevenness is characteristic of a market economy and is a development stimulus. Possessing specific features, the countries of Central and Eastern Europe have a significant impact on the consequences of EU enlargement. The study of the specifics of the development of these countries in the process of European integration is of particular importance for other countries in the process of transformation, including the Republic of Moldova.
