Abstract
Pe baza surselor inedite, depistate în arhivele din Republica Moldova şi din România, se abordează evoluţia şcolilor normale din Chişinău, cel de-al doilea oraş al României interbelice, după numărul populaţiei. Se constată faptul că înfiinţarea şcolilor normale (de învăţători) a fost în unison cu politica naţională realizată de statul român în vederea lichidării analfabetismului şi de racordare la necesităţile cultural-educaţionale ale societăţii româneşti. Se prezintă tabloul general al cadrelor didactice şi al elevilor, infrastructura de învăţământ a Școlii Normale de Fete pentru Grădina de Copii „Florica Nița” şi a Școlii Normale de Băieți „Mihai Viteazul”. Se constată şi tendinţe de cercetare şi de conservare a patrimoniului cultural în cadrul acestor instituţii de învăţământ. Şcolile normale au fost vizitate de personalităţi marcate de epocă. O încercare de deschidere a Școlii Normale de Conducătoare de Grădini de Copii din Chişinău a suferit eşec.
Based on unpublished sources, found in the archives of the Republic of Moldova and Romania, the evolution of normal schools in Chișinău, the second city of interwar Romania, after the number of population, is approached. It is found that the establishment of normal schools (for teachers) was in unison with the national policy realized by the Romanian state in order to eradicate illiteracy and to meet the cultural-educational needs of Romanian society. The general picture of the teaching staff and pupils, the educational infrastructure of the “Florica Nița” Girls’ Normal School for Kindergarten and of the “Mihai Viteazul” Boys’ Normal School for Kindergarten is presented. There are also trends of research and preservation of cultural heritage in these educational institutions. The normal schools were visited by personalities marked by the period. An attempt to open the Normal School for Kindergarten Directors in Chișinău failed.
