Răspunderea penală pentru infracţiunea de genocid

Abstract

People have fought so hard that they have succeeded in making violence boring. More than a hundred years later, the subject of this thesis should not surprise either by the awful abundance of historical events to which we can relate it, nor by its topicality. The crime of genocide constitutes the most serious attack on the foundations of humanity, being directed against the physical existence of a human collective. The main reason why I chose to research this crime for my bachelor’s thesis is also the one that has already affected a large part of the population of Europe for more than a year, and not only, in connection with the outbreak of the war in the neighboring country – Ukraine.
