VARIETĂŢILE LITERATURII ISTORICE ÎN ŢĂRILE ROMÂNE (SEC. XV-XVI)

Abstract

Pe parcursul sec. XV-XVI, în spaţiul românesc au fost cunoscute variate scrieri istorice: cronici slavone, traduceri din istoriografia bizantină, opere scrise în greacă, latină, în limbile germană şi maghiară. Ansamblul acestor lucrări formează cultura istorică a societăţii acelei epoci, sursă importantă pentru studiul gândirii şi al imaginarului medieval. Cercetătorii de astăzi utilizează diverşi termeni pentru a denumi aceste lucrări, probând astfel caracterul eterogen al acestor scrieri, legătura lor cu alte specii literare. În afară de cronici, genul operelor istorice mai includea inscripţii murale, scrisori oficiale, texte hagiografice şi însemnări marginale.During the XV-XVI-th c., in the Romanian space several historical writings were known: Slavonic chronicles, translations from the Byzantine historiography, works written in Greek, Latin, German, and Hungarian. The ensemble of these writings forms the historical culture of the society of that time, an important source for the study of the medieval thought and imagery. Nowadays specialists use different terms for these historical works, thus proving their hetero-geneous character, their common points with other literary sp ecies. The genre of historical writings included also mural inscriptions, official letters, hagiographical texts and marginal notes.
