PARTICULARITĂȚILE ETICII DIGITALE ÎN ACTIVITATEA BANCARĂ

Abstract

Banking ethics is a specific form of professional ethics in the financial field, which regulates the correct behavior of banking institutions and their employees. During the evolution of the banking activity, the corresponding adjustment of the norms of banking ethics took place continuously. Thus, during the deepening digitization of banking activity, a new form of ethics of a digital nature is implemented. The purpose of this work is to examine the specific aspects of the application of digital ethics in the banking sphere. For this purpose, the opinions available in open sources of information were examined and their synthesis was carried out, as well as the related conclusions were formulated. Digitization offers banks a complex of benefits, but this process requires the development and implementation of specific norms of behavior of banking institutions related to the correct and safe collection and use of customer data, which form the concept of digital ethics.
