Abstract

The United Nations has a particularly important role in the international promotion of human rights, for the fulfillment of which it has been a system of principal and subsidiary bodies that, in one way or another, actively participate in efforts to promote and protect fundamental rights and freedoms worldwide. The Human Rights Council aims to promote and respect fundamental human rights and freedoms at the global level, being responsible for promoting respect for the protection of human rights without discrimination, by developing recommendations on serious human rights violations. The problem of nonrespect for human rights is not only a national, internal problem of states, but an international, global one, in the observance of which the whole international society is interested and first of all - the United Nations Organization.
