| dc.description.abstract | Crimes against the life and health of a person constitute one of the most serious and complex categories of criminal acts, having a profound impact both on the direct victims and on society as a whole. These acts include acts such as murder, attempted murder, serious bodily harm, but also other actions that affect the physical and mental integrity of individuals. They are not limited only to the immediate consequences on the health of the person, but also generate secondary effects of a social, moral and economic nature, influencing the sense of security and cohesion of the community. The scientific analysis and investigation of these crimes represent an essential tool for law enforcement agencies, providing methodological and technical support in the prevention, identification and sanctioning of criminal acts. In this context, the use of modern methods, such as the polygraph, contributes to the efficiency of investigations and to the clarification of the circumstances in which these acts are committed, thus supporting the entire process of protecting the life and health of individuals. | en |
